Namrata and Neil met us just days before their wedding. They had almost everything booked and sorted, but they were in a dilemma – should their friends run around handling things or enjoy every moment by their side? The choice was obvious – if friends won’t enjoy it, who would! That’s where we came in. Without missing a beat, we joined them for a recce to their venue – Oleander Farms in Karjat. It was the shortest timeline we’ve ever worked with, but we believed in their love and jumped right into planning.
This wedding was special in more ways than one. Neil – the cool, easygoing groom – was Catholic, while Namrata – the perfectionist bride – was South Indian. They had been business partners for a decade, and Neil was always sure about taking this partnership into forever. As an interior designer, Namrata’s vision was crystal clear, with every detail meticulously planned. Neil, being the chill guy that he is, made sure everything his bride envisioned came to life – just the way she wanted it.
Their 3-day wedding journey kicked off with a Catholic wedding at Oleander Farms. Namrata wanted the ceremony to enhance the natural beauty of the surrounding hills, and that’s exactly how it unfolded. The celebration started with a traditional high tea where everyone sat together, sharing heartfelt words and wishing the couple the best for their new beginning. Under the stars, Neil and Namrata exchanged vows and sealed their love with a kiss – a magical moment made even more breathtaking by a surprise firework display organized by their friends. As the sky lit up, the band took the stage and set the night on fire – and thus, the party began. As we like to say – What happens in Karjat stays in Karjat!
After the dreamy night in Karjat, everyone traveled back to Mumbai for the second function – the Sangeet at St. Regis. Following the Karjat magic, this event was nothing short of a banger. The evening started with high-energy performances that set the tone, and once the DJ took over, it was pure madness. Everyone danced their hearts out, celebrating love in the most epic way possible.
Finally, D-Day arrived. Namrata and Neil chose ISKCON, Juhu for their traditional South Indian wedding. Namrata looked like a heavenly apsara in her South Indian attire, while Neil, rocking the mundu, looked nothing less than a dapper groom. The ceremony was steeped in tradition – from saying “I do” under the stars to taking vows around the sacred fire – they promised each other forever.
From business partners to life partners – this wedding truly symbolized their journey. It was a blend of cultures, traditions, and a lot of love – from “I do” to Agni ko Sakshi Maanke – they began their forever.
