All he needed to do was show up and slay with his impeccable looks – and that’s exactly what he did at every function. Alia, on the other hand, was pure elegance – graceful, poised, and the kind of bride who took everyone’s breath away. Her beauty was elevated to perfection by her makeup artist, Pooja Khurana – who truly worked her magic.
The celebrations kicked off with a MET Gala-themed Welcome Dinner at Bastian at the Top. The energy was electric as the Prince of Bhangra, Sukhbir – set the stage on fire, making it one of the most iconic starts to a wedding we’ve ever witnessed.
Next up was the Sheni at Lodha One – an intimate gathering with close family and friends. The theme – Jaipur Rendezvous – added a touch of royal charm to the cozy affair. It was the perfect contrast to the high-energy welcome dinner – giving everyone a chance to soak in the warmth of love and tradition.
Then came the grand finale – the Nikaah at the iconic Taj Mahal Palace. The entire floor was reserved for the couple – offering a luxurious experience like no other. The lavish spread of food was a feast for the senses – with a dedicated dessert room where a Waffle counter flown down from Belgium stole the show. The theme – Enchanted Garden – was brought to life by Sanam, the decorator, whose meticulous attention to detail made the venue look nothing less than a fairytale. And to top it all off, Tiernom’s custom cake was not just a treat for the taste buds – but a masterpiece of art.
Being our first Muslim wedding – this one will always hold a special place in our hearts. It was grand, unforgettable, and filled with moments that felt straight out of a Bollywood movie.
