Meet Karanveer and Deepali – a couple whose love story is all about the perfect blend of tradition and modernity, just like a classic Punjabi Bollywood film. Their wedding was full of high energy, laughter, and a whole lot of love.
It all began when we met the Matta family at Shangrila Resort. Karanveer, being the family guy that he is, arrived with his parents and elders. Our concept being quite new, it took a little explaining, but as we got talking, things fell into place. Karanveer was quick to recognize that this was it – he already had the backend planned, he just needed someone to bring it all together.
Karanveer and Deepali’s story is nothing short of a movie plot. Karan – the quintessential Punjabi munda – was deeply involved in his family business. On the other hand, Deepali – the free-spirited, independent girl – was a cabin crew member, always on the go, exploring the world. They met through common friends at a fashion institute, and something just clicked. Despite their different lifestyles, their hearts had already decided – they were meant to be. Because in every great love story, love always finds its way!
Their wedding festivities at Shangrila Resort began with a playful Haldi event. It was pure Bollywood dhamaal elevated by the rhythmic beats of the dhol – because Punjabis simply don’t do celebrations without some bhangra! The couple made a grand entrance to the iconic title track from Mr. & Mrs. Khiladi – looking every bit like a Bollywood duo. The atmosphere was filled with masti, fun games, and, of course, ended with everyone joyfully jumping into the pool!
The celebrations continued with a banger Sangeet, where all the soni kudis and Punjabi munde lit up the stage with their spirited performances. The night didn’t end there – the Jago ceremony followed, where the lath came in and everyone danced their hearts out, keeping the vibe alive throughout the night.
The next morning was the main game – the wedding itself. The Varmala ceremony was nothing less than a fairytale. Karanveer made his grand entry to Singh is King, accompanied by Bagpipers flown in from Punjab. Deepali, on the other hand, made her entrance to Tere Hawale Kar Diya with her bridesmaids – looking like an absolute dream. The scene was set in front of a waterfall, showered with roses as they exchanged varmalas – truly a picture-perfect moment.
What followed was a power-packed Baraat that ended at the Gurudwara, where Karanveer and Deepali tied the knot in a serene and traditional ceremony, marking the beginning of their forever.
The celebrations concluded with a formal reception – a classy wrap-up to the vibrant festivities.
By the end of it all, we didn’t just feel like wedding coordinators – we felt like part of the family. The warmth, love, and genuine connection we shared with them left our hearts full. It was an experience we’ll always cherish!
